A Brain-Based Vocal Reset & Masterclass
SATURDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 2026
14:00 - 17:15
Zurich, 8005
Ever feel like your voice gets stuck, tired, or tight? Often, vocal tension isn't a lack of technique. It's how your body responds to physical or mental stress. The Neuro-performance Lab explores the intersection between body awareness, nervous system regulation, and vocal performance.
When your body feels stress or instability, it creates involuntary tension to protect itself. By using gentle sensory, visual, or balance exercises, along with targeted strength work and body mapping, we help calm your nervous system's stress response. This releases restricted breath, reduces physical strain, and helps singing feel easier, freer, and more grounded in your body...in other words, you can feel more like YOU and be more present in the moment of your performance.
Whether you join as an Active Singer or a Active Observer, you will walk away with a deeper understanding of your unique voice and a sustainable set of tools to use in your daily practice.
What We Will Cover
The Nervous System & Your Voice: Learn how physical tension and performance anxiety impact your voice and how to work with your body rather than against it.
Assessment & Self-Awareness: Develop a simple process to check in with your body, identify where you hold tension, and test which exercises actually help your voice.
Guided Group Drills: Practice targeted movement, visual, and alignment exercises together to explore their effect on breath, resonance, and freedom.
Live Masterclass Coaching: Observe how these principles apply in real time as active singers work through song material in 1-on-1 coaching sessions.

Not at all. While we will be active and moving in class, the exercises are low-impact movement, visual, and balance drills designed for all fitness levels. We meet you where you are at! We simply recommend wearing comfortable clothing that doesn't restrict your breath or movement.
-
Active Singers (capped at 5) participate in all group drills and receive a dedicated 1-on-1 coaching slot on a song cut with live feedback.
Active Observers participate fully in all group warm-ups and brain-based drills, and observe the live coachings to see how the framework applies across different voices and problems.
-
Absolutely! Voice teachers, choir directors, public speakers, and movement practitioners love the observer tier because it provides a front-row look at how to assess nervous system triggers and apply targeted neural drills in real time.
-
Active Singer slots are intended for intermediate to advanced singers who are comfortable performing solo with an accompanist. You will need to bring printed sheet music in your key.
A short section of around 90 seconds is recommended so that we can optimize the time.
-
The lab takes place at a central, accessible studio space in Zurich. You will receive exact venue directions and arrival instructions in your registration confirmation email.
-
Because capacity is strictly capped, registrations are non-refundable. However, if you are unable to attend, you are welcome to transfer your registration to a friend or colleague or email us prior to the workshop date to update the roster.
If the workshop is sold out, we may be able to transfer your registration to someone on the waitlist.
